Heartfelt Acts…sort of.

“Love is not who you see yourself with, it is who you cannot see yourself without” -Unknown

During a quiet (ok, lazy) day yesterday, I managed to get some time to read through a few blogs that had been recommended to me on Twitter. One of these was ‘Cupcake Mumma’ and her post on “Heartfelt Acts”. What she did, was to leave 5 random notes of love or affirmation in different public places. So, in a typical lazy Fiona way, I have decided to leave my notes to 5 different people who have had an impact on my life, via this blog. This is my version of “Heartfelt Acts”.

I will not be naming names but I will initial them – because most of the people who these are about, in the nicest possible way, are either too young or not very good  at taking a hint ;).

My Heartfelt Notes

For A & L – You make me smile every day. I love you both more than I ever thought was possible. You are my reason for getting up in the morning and you make me happier than I have ever known.

For SYou are more amazing than you give yourself credit for. You can do anything you want to in life – you just have to believe in yourself. I love you like a sister – but i hate that you give yourself a hard time, when really, you’re the strongest person I’ve ever met.

For  M – More than anything or anyone, I want you to be happy.

For D – No matter what I say or do, or however many arguments we have… I love you. Sometimes, I cannot stand to be around you. Sometimes, I’m scared I’m going to go too far and say something I’ll regret. Sometimes though, I think that’s what you need. But always know, that I really do love you.

For P – You are my best friend. You are my soul mate and even after 10 years, I still fall in love with you more each day. I love that no one realises how funny you are and that there are times where you make my cry from laughing. You are the hardest working person i’ve ever met  and an absolutely amazing daddy. You are also the grumpiest person, I think, in the entire world, but your all round handsome-ness and muscly thighs cancel out that negative. You really are my everything.

What would your random notes say? Feel free to leave your own note in the comments section.
